I provide commercial leadership to install and deliver the Company vision with ingenuity and integrity.
I utilise an innately entrepreneurial and scientific mindset to navigate global markets and lead the NuroKor mission whilst inspiring others to join our journey. I lead the Senior Leadership Team in the strategic delivery of the NuroKor vision, growth and expansion across our markets and technologies.
My family - my wife and 4 children. I live for them and the opportunity to impact health and quality of life on a global scale.
I use NuroKor technology on an almost daily basis for many overall health benefits, and less often to manage lower back and neck pain. From time to time I also use it as a neck and shoulder tension release for headache and migraine. I could not live a quality life without it.
Evidence shows bioelectronics can help mitigate some of the biggest health challenges that we're facing.
My role predominantly covers 3 key areas within NuroKor:
- Business Development
- Product Development & Technology Advancement
- Scientific & Educational Activities
With a background and an in-depth understanding of cell biology and molecular systems, I utilise a comprehensive understanding of how the bioelectrical treatment modalities of MCS, PNS & NMS interact and elicit beneficial physiological responses within the body from a cellular level. Combined with technical knowledge of medical devices and their electrical parameters, this enables me to manage and support NuroKor’s product development and the advancement of our technology.
I am also actively involved in the R&D pipeline, scientific activities and educational programmes of NuroKor, with the integrity of the science being the key focus and priority.
I have a scientific and technical approach to support and manage the needs of product development and the advancement of our technology. I benefit from having a comprehensive understanding of the different markets and commercial verticals that NuroKor has established, whilst utilizing the clinical knowledge I have gained from my experience within the medical device industry.
The biggest joy is having a young family, and I am motivated by their health and happiness. This is why I have a passion for technology and innovation. Our time with loved ones is incredibly precious and I am driven to help improve the quality of life for many people and their families worldwide.
I use my NuroKor for chronic post-natal sacroiliac joint pain. I now rarely feel any pain, and when I do it enables me to continue to keep up with my active life, completely pain-free.
I’ve got around 25 years’ experience across multiple industries and roles from digital medical publishing to biotech and fintech. I’ve worked in operations and operational delivery programmes on the client side, in agencies, as a startup and as a consultant - wearing ‘many hats’ to make sure things get done.
My responsibilities at NuroKor include driving the strategic vision, ensuring that the company’s expansion aligns to its environmental and sustainability goals and helping it to become a principal global electroceuticals provider.
With a lifelong passion for cutting-edge technology - especially in healthcare – as well as multiple sports, NuroKor is the perfect match for me.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, cycling and long biking adventures, playing lead guitar and watching many types of sport.
As a long-term back pain sufferer and keen cyclist, I’ll benefit from the numerous NuroKor solutions to alleviate any pain and enhance my training.

Ardeshir Bayat is a Medical Research Council funded Professor at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and Reader at the University of Manchester, UK and currently runs active translational research programmes in the UK and South Africa. One of his main areas of interest is on the use of bioelectronics in tissue healing and has spent many years gaining a deeper insight into the molecular science behind tissue healing and scar formation. In addition, he continues to explore the role of energy-based devices in enhancement of cutaneous wound healing and prevention of dermal fibrosis.
In his role as Chief Clinical & Scientific Advisor, Ardeshir will be working with our scientific and medical teams to provide guidance, counsel and contributions to the scientific development and evidence of NuroKor’s products, across both pain management and wound care.
Sharing his enthusiasm for this new role, Ardeshir said:
“NuroKor is progressive and disruptive in equal measure, and I’m excited to have found a company that aligns so closely with my work, research and values. From my academic and clinical work, the real world evidence is undeniable and I really see enormous potential for bioelectronics in tissue repair. I am incredibly excited to be a part of a great team that is making a huge difference for people living with pain and injury, reducing the potential side effects of some medicines and reducing the need for invasive interventions.”
Mr Raj Bhattacharya is NuroKor’s Chief Clinical Advisor for Orthopaedics and Medical. He is also Clinical Director of Orthopaedics, Plastics and Major Trauma at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and North West London Major Trauma Centre.
He is a practicing Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant specialising in knee and trauma surgery. He is also President of the Orthopaedic Section of the Royal Society of Medicine, London, and acts as Clinical Advisor to the Parliament and Health Ombudsman.
Raj’s primary focus at NuroKor is supporting the company’s clinical evaluation projects and helping to progress formal research - providing scientific evidence regarding its efficacy. The work will provide important validation of bioelectrical therapy, strengthening evidence for the technology to be incorporated into the wider healthcare realm. In addition, he’ll also help support new opportunities in clinical markets. He said:
“Pain is such a universal thing - pretty much everybody I know has suffered from pain at some stage in their life. I think having a non-invasive, affordable pain management system is, at some point, going to be taken up by society and the wider population
“Management of pain is a key driver for me as an orthopaedic surgeon. I want to be able to give something to my patients as they go home after surgery and say, wear this for the next two weeks. As long as I know it works and there are no harmful side effects, its use is pretty universal, so there's massive potential.”
We seek out the best evidence to develop effective systems and world-first treatments.

Hege’s career as a professional Obstacle Course Runner saw her taking 1st place in the 24 hour Kvalik race as well as gaining 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in other long distance races. NuroKor's products have given Hege the opportunity to treat and prevent injuries herself and she found that following some pain in her hamstring after a sprain, she was able to get back in full training much faster.
These are clearly my achievements in the World Cup in 24 hours of obstacles. Have taken two years in a row 5. Place in the elite group. And with a bad cold right before the run this year and yet a personal length record, I still have more to give for next year. Took 1st place in the last year's 24 hour Kvalik race and has both 1st 2 and 3rd place in other long distance obstacle courses. This is clearly my thing.
Moving around, playing and having fun. I am a huge fan of the mountains, both winter and summer, with all the beautiful impressions that follows being active here. And on the sport front, burning for obstacle runs, which I see more as a playground for adults, gives me the opportunity to exercise versatility with rowing and climbing as well as running and basic strength. It doesn't get boring :)
I am still working towards a pallet placement for World Championship in 24 hours in an obstacle run. But also have a little dream to join Norseman. Otherwise, I have a goal and hope to reach more people with a healthy form of injury prevention, which is a growing trend when training has become a fashion. People think it's a tough thing to achieve, despite the injury. Such a choice may in fact be the choice between many races, or one last one, and never again.
I have had incredibly good experience with similar treatment with skilled personnel before. For me exercising so much, keeping myself injury-free is incredibly important. Through Nurokor's products, I have the opportunity to treat and prevent myself to a greater extent. I also get the chance to spread this opportunity to more people. A safer option to keep your body healthy without that is also cost effective.
Last year, I had an irritation in hamstrings after a sprain in August. With diligent use, I was back in full training much faster, and managed to get to the top so my qualifying run went as planned. I don't think 1st place would have been as easy without the treatment along the way
On the side of my own sport, I have spent time guiding other runners with different challenges in their daily lives. I want to reach more people with the importance of not burning out the body in training, but working safely and having patience. In addition, drop a haircut hour in favor of preventative treatment to prevent future injuries. I see far too many people forcing the body despite the hurts and minor flaws after poor exercise, and thus ending up with greater stresses and sometimes even stress fractures because they just had to. If there is one thing I have a very high focus on, it is to take the time to heal. At my age, the results are still coming, but a little slower than when I was 20 years old. I think the reason it is going so well is that I have accepted this :) So how have I resolved my own impatience? Yes, because I am. I have simply put myself aside, and periodically focus on people other than myself. I do this by accompanying the visually impaired who need support to participate and run. It is incredibly rewarding and I learn a lot about both having such challenges and about myself in relation to things I take for granted. Encourage others to do the same. Muscle tone is more readily relaxed back to a healthy resting state, facilitating relaxation and the recovery process. Although Madeleine believes her biggest achievements still lie ahead of her she feels privileged to have had the opportunity to dance with the Duprada Dance Company where she has performed both as Aurora in Sleeping Beauty and as Swanhilda in Coppelia. Madeleine has a keen interest in bioelectrical medicine and feels strongly that the use of natural, holistic methods to help your body recover, heal and perform is vastly underrated in the area of sports medicine. She has found that NuroKor has helped improve her muscle recovery and isolation. She has also used the microcurrent therapy setting to complete healing the tissue damage caused by hip impingement.
Being given the chance to perform Aurora and Swanhilda in the full length ballets The Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia, respectively, with Duprada Dance Company when I was 19. I'm am happy to say that my biggest achievements are still ahead of me - that's both exciting and scary!
I love my family and I love to dance. Dancing makes me feel more human as odd as that sounds! Working through class every morning is like a daily meditation and at the same time, it’s what makes me want to improve and work on bettering myself each and every single day. It’s a never ending journey and at the same time each day it’s a fresh start. No matter where you go anywhere in the world, it’s so comforting to know that both incredible principal artists and young dancers starting their careers begin their day in the same way - at the barre.
I have physical and technical goals of course like being able to consistently perform multiple pirouettes, jump higher, have better extensions, but I am also working on myself as an artist. There are many technically perfect dancers out there today and I naturally want to be able to physically perform at the highest standard I can, but I also want to become the best artist I can be. I want to make an audience feel something and leave the theatre renewed after a few hours in another world. The best performances I have seen are not always the most technically perfect ones but that ones that touch your soul.
I have been interested in biomedicine for a couple of years now. The science of making your body heal, recover and perform at its best while using holistic and natural methods is perhaps one of the most underrated and important scientific improvements in sports medecine. Of course this is where the technology will get the most recognition but the beauty of this technology is that it helps everyone. Casual gym goers to elite athletes. The kind of technology that helps people of all walks live a happier, healthier life gets a big yes from me.
Since using my NuroKor, not only have I seen an improvement in my muscle recovery and isolation, but I was also dealing with the remnants of a hip impingement and I have seen that heal rapidly using the Microcurrent setting. I have tried different strength work, stretches and physios but the effects haven’t been long term. The fact that I can deal with this quickly and effectively and comeback stronger has been a game changer for me.
I’m not sure how normal I am but being normal is overrated!
When I was younger I moved around a lot, we were never in the same house for more than three years! I was homeschooled along with my brother and two younger sisters with Seton Homestudy School, and for that I will always be so grateful to my mum.
I Love reading and find that the hardest thing about travelling is not having paper books, I always cave and buy some however as I can’t stand reading from a screen! I’m currently working on reading through a list of books that people need to read in their life and it has been so interesting! My favorite genres are biographies, philosophy, and history. Living in Europe has made me obsessed with learning more about history because as they say, “those who don’t learn from mistakes made in history are destined to repeat them”. Life is too short to make mistakes that have already been proven to be mistakes! "

Just as all pills aren’t the same, neither are devices. It’s not a question of whether bioelectrical medicine works or not - our own experience and the evidence of thousands of others using any of three clinically proven technologies for observed positive outcomes, stands as evidence of its incredible potential to improve quality of life. The real question is whether there’s legitimate research associated with this technology. We believe there’s no excuse for any medical device company not to encourage research with its proprietary technology so we work and collaborate with doctors, clinicians practitioners, researchers and athletes around the world in the pursuit of excellence, based on the very best available evidence, technologies and treatment protocols.
Our vision is to continually develop science and technology that puts the power of leading edge bioelectrical medicine directly in the hands of the many - to offer you and everyone you know, of all ages, an effective choice beyond pills.
