Through this series of blogs, we are exploring how we think about NuroKor in the context of healthcare and clinicians, shining a light on the potential impact of electrotherapy for people living with health challenges. Our last post addressed how our technology can provide a cost-effective, drug-free alternative to conventional medication. In this article, we’ll share how NuroKor provides medically regulated products, delivering personalised pain relief to patients.

Personalised Applications

Existing research has shown that to be maximally effective, bioelectric medicine needs to be optimised. Every person’s anatomy, biochemistry and experience of pain is unique and their treatment should be too. This means using a specific, personalised form 

At NuroKor, we understand the health-boosting potential of personalised bioelectricity and believe that patients should be in control of the treatment they receive. 

As a result, our devices are manufactured to enable patients to choose the formulations, so the optimal one can be found for each patient. By offering multiple modes with varying frequencies; it is possible for each individual to better optimise NuroKor’s technology to suit their specific needs.

The Science 

In order to ensure our evidence-led technologies are developed effectively, we use qualitative evidence (hard numbers) and pre-formulation analytical studies (pre-existing evidence) to develop bioelectrical formulations and proprietary treatment software that have a high degree of safety and demonstrable efficacy.  

What separates NuroKor devices from other electrotherapy devices and really highlights our commitment to maximising benefits to patients is the way we: 
  • develop our software and app technology 
  • give control to patients to find their optimal pain relief experience 

Our research-driven approach goes beyond our physical technology, as formulation is a key function of our device-partnering app. Using this novel tool, proven formulations can be combined to maximise the therapeutic or performance potential in a simple, user-friendly way. We’re at the very beginning of brand-new bioelectric technologies that have the potential to make real change in the lives of so many, and while formulation is currently configured by the administering clinician, our vision is to use Machine Learning to create these personalised formulations at scale.
